We might miss some of the usual treats like chocolate cookies on the keto diet, but we don't have to. This amazing cookie recipe will satisfy that sweet tooth.
Ingredients:
- 3 x Keto Keto Chocolate Hazelnut Bars
- 100g ground almonds or almond flour
- 40g sweetener (erythritol)
- 30g cocoa powder
- 2 eggs
- 3 tablespoons melted butter or coconut oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 50g dark chocolate, chopped (or dark chocolate chips)
Get making!
- Place the Keto bars in a food processor and pulse to break down.
- Add in the almond flour/ground almonds, sweetener, cocoa powder, eggs, oil or butter and vanilla then pulse again until a dough forms. Stir in the dark chocolate.
- Divide the mixture into 8 or 9 pieces and roll into balls to flatten and place on a baking tray with greaseproof paper.
- Bake at 180C for 10-12 minutes until firmed up and golden. Leave to cool
for 20 minutes to firm then enjoy!
